Who You Are

The MANAGER OF INVENTORY CONTROL works closely with teams across channels and functions to coordinate and execute improvements to the overall operations arm of the business. They will report on key metrics and opportunities to a cross-functional group on a regular basis. A successful candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of organization and professionalism.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an emerging industry and drive new processes and systems. As a member of the CannMart Operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy between CannMart’s ERP and warehouse systems as well as managing daily warehouse activities.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Creates and manages the Monthly CRA & HC reporting.
• Coordinating scheduled inventory counts and providing ownership over CannMart’s secured storage, general storage and third party storage
• Ensure the accuracy of inventory levels between all of Cannmart’s systems for both raw materials, and finished goods.
• Responsible to generate/audit all Inventory transaction in the system for cannabis and non-cannabis products
• Monitor lot controlled consumable items within the warehouses, maintaining inventory counts, and ensuring enough inventory to fulfill orders.
• Liaise with finance to ensure the proper categorization of inbound goods and materials
• Generation of weekly/monthly metrics regarding production and planning activities
• Work with teams to track inbound shipments to ensure they are complete, correct and on time.
• Responsible for the correct input in the system for receiving materials in the BOM
• Provides administrative support for operational functions including product and service procedures, SOP’s, policies, and other items, all in alignment with quality assurance and GMP requirements.
• Oversees the destruction process by assessing documentation from the production team and destruction specialists to ensure accuracy.
• Tracks inventory movement within both warehouses for both controlled and uncontrolled products.
• Own the completion of quarterly Cycle Count program
• Identify risks in inventory control

Education And Experience

• Experience in Cannabis industry considered an asset
• Advanced Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets skills
• Previous experience with a Consumer Goods company; with preference to working at a Natural Health Food or Beverage, Nutraceutical, Dietary Supplement or Cannabis company
• Experience with Ample Organics a plus
• Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data to back up assumptions and create business cases, and to identify and solve problems
• Working knowledge of ERP systems - experience with MRPEasy preferred
• 3+ years working as a supply planner or Inventory Analyst
• Physically able to lift and move bins weighing 15-35lbs on a regular basis.
