POSITION:

Warehouse and Inventory Manager

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure that the warehouses operate at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction the primary goal by supervising, organizing and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals. Responsibilities include:

• In-house and 3PL warehouse site management;
• Process and verify paperwork;
• Source carriers and negotiate the best possible rates while maintaining service requirements;
• Ensure prompt communication with vendors to schedule pickups of materials and supplies;
• Perform regular inventory counts including cycle counts and audit trail analysis;
• Forklift driving (as backup to Forklift drivers) as needed.
• Recruitment, training and managing warehouse staff;
• Oversee container/stock receiving and fulfillment of all outbound orders (wholesale and ecommerce divisions);
• Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service;
• Coordinate with Sales department for processing and fulfillment of all POs/orders;
• Complete order management, procurement, expediting, updating information in business system and status reports;
• Arrange for maintenance of all warehouse equipment and delivery vehicles, as required;
• Providing updates on deliveries to general management;
• Coordinating outbound transportation through 3rd party transportation companies;
• Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessary;
• Space Management;
• Provide feedback to sales and business development on areas of opportunity; and
• Managing vendor and customer relationships by accommodating preferences and maintaining professional level of communication;
• Communicate with customers, sales and operations team;

WAGE:

CAD 70,000.00 per annum based on a 35 hours of work per week. Eligibility for annual salary increase and performance based bonus.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor Degree

EXPERIENCE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Working knowledge of MS Office computer application (Word, Excel, Outlook) and email; and
• Minimum 5 years of warehouse management experience;
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment;
• Highly organized with strong multi-tasking and time management abilities;
• Valid Driving license;
• Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures;
• High level of accuracy and detail with error-free orders;
• Demonstrated experience in providing exceptional customer service;
• Forklift certificate;
• Entrepreneurial work ethic.
• Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls;
