The Warehouse Supervisor, under the direction of the Ontario Warehouse and Logistics Manager, is responsible for direct supervision of all personnel at the GVI Louth Street Warehouse.

We Are Looking For a Teammate With

• University or College graduate in a related discipline preferred
• Extensive experience in a similar management position
• Experience with ERP and/or Warehouse Management Systems (Oracle preferred)

This Teammate Will Be Accountable For

• Provides Leadership and coaching to the warehouse team
• Investigates and resolves all distribution concerns raised to ensure that Customer Service and Satisfaction measures are continually exceeded.
• Negotiates rates, routes, and all distribution issues.
• Maintains Warehouse efficiency through space management, handling strategies, and effective deployment of manpower
• Ensures stock rotation through the application of FIFO
• Ensures the accuracy and fulfillment of orders delivered to the customer
• Responsible for sourcing external warehousing sites when demand requires
• Ensures all components are delivered to the production facility on time
• Fleet management of leased vehicles and owned vehicles
• Establishes and schedules pick-ups and deliveries of shipments
• Warehouse Supervisor is the main point of contact for 3rd party warehouses (ex. Container World)
• Ensures a Safe and Healthy Work Environment
