Warehouse Operations Supervisor Jobs

Summary: The Operations Supervisor is directly responsible for the day to day supervision of the warehouse floor, assigning the work schedule to the team members, and supervising the time management of the warehouse shipments.

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:

• Perform additional duties as required and or requested.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Safely receive and unload inbound cargo containers and team members.
• Maintain a clean and hazard free warehouse operation.
• Ensure day to day warehouse shipments are completed in a timely manner.
• Supervise and operate overhead crane and team members.
• Direct supervision of warehouse floor operations; work scheduling and team member assignments.
• Supervise and operate forklift and team members.

Additionally the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements:

• Forklift experience a plus.
• High School Education required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with overhead cranes.
• One (1) to Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
• Good organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written English language communication skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Provide high level of customer service
• Able to use tablets (IPad).

This role has the following physical demands:

• The employee must occasionally lift, pull and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.

Salary Range: $60,000-$75,000. Estimated annual pay for new hires generally ranges between $60,000 and $75,000 or more, depending on experience, education level and annual bonuses.
