Veoneer Canada Safety Systems is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Warehouse Supervisor. As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for the efficient operations of the warehousing and shipping functions. Primary responsibilities encompass leadership and supervision of employees, product inventory, Health & Safety and improving productivity. Within this role, you will be expected to drive the business forward, streamline the operation and engage in continuous improvement. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager.

What You'll Do

• Be proactive in anticipating potential issues, understanding the necessary actions, and ensuring preventative measures are in place.
• Achieving Customer Deliverables, Cost and Quality Targets.
• Manage system integrity and use problem solving methodologies with team to drive to root cause and permanent corrective action.
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance in accordance with company policies.
• Communicate & implement change as required.
• Ensure adherence to VES standards.
• Train and supervise staff in standard operating procedures and safe work practices.
• Coordinate efficient operation of the warehouse.

What You'll Bring

• Must possess strong computer skills and the proven ability to navigate multiple computer systems.
• The ideal candidate will possess a Post-secondary Degree/Diploma and a minimum of five years of related supervisory experience, ideally in a warehouse setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Flexibility to work on an off-shift is a requirement.
• Experience with the Ceridian Dayforce timekeeping system is an asset.
• Strong communication skills to ensure that all parties understand and receive appropriate information in a timely manner.
• Knowledge of Future 3, Enterprise One, Trace and Crystal is a great asset.
