This Is What You Will Do
Digital Solutions Enablement (DSE) drives the delivery of Business Technology Excellence for R&D by providing industry leading technology and services in collaboration with internal and external partners.
The Associate Director, Solutions Implementation Lead (SIL) has responsibility for establishing the appropriate technology strategy and overseeing the implementation to ensure alignment across projects. Digital technology services include but are not limited to, eCOA, patient engagement, telemedicine, and data collection via connected devices and wearables.
The individual is accountable for supporting leadership and strategic direction, and for driving the consistent delivery of technology related process and services that meet customer needs and enable optimal end-to-end delivery of clinical studies.
You Will Be Responsible For
  • Provide input to clinical study protocols; review scope of digital technologies required to select appropriate technology/vendor
  • Project management delivery to meet time, quality, and cost.
  • Develop and manage relationships with external technology and service providers; point of contact for study related vendor performance and data quality issues
  • Digital Patient Solutions E2E process initiation and oversight of system requirements gathering and integrations, user acceptance testing, deployment, maintenance, and closeout
  • Using technical, creative problem-solving and good development practice skills to achieve successful outcomes
  • Provide/obtain ongoing feedback related to utilization of systems and processes to continuously improve our service delivery based on customer feedback
  • In close collaboration with relevant partners, supports development and implementation of DSE-related procedures
You Will Need To Have
  • Well-developed project management skills, including management and oversight of vendors, relationships, budgets, timelines, and risk
  • Good understanding of E2E patient and operational data flow in clinical systems, dependencies between systems and reconciliation principles.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language
  • The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment.   • Effective verbal and written communication, influencing, and partnering skills
  • Experience with training, process development and improvement
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience focused on clinical trial technologies
We Would Prefer For You To Have
  • Experience of working in a global organization with complex/ geographical context
  • Strong knowledge of emerging, innovative technologies in clinical trial management
  • Proven experience of working with complex integrated systems, using creative and strategic thinking to deliver exceptional results
  • Ability to work collaboratively; proven organizational and analytical skills, and proven skills to deliver to time, cost and quality
  • Experience of agile working practices and a good understanding of project and vendor management techniques and methods
