Accountabilities:

• Collaborate with innovation team on new product concepts, helping identify opportunities for unique customers to drive margin accretive SKUs
• Support new product development and launch, including pricing, and packaging development, label compliance, marketing strategy and launch plans
• Support cross functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, R&D and Operations
• Work with sales teams to drive brand performance at retailers. Familiarity with mass retailers, Walmart, Club, Amazon a plus
• Assist with label development for new and existing products to ensure that products are marketed effectively. Including some copy writing, product claims, consumer benefits
• Collaborate with communications and creative teams to drive content development including planning, briefs, marketing plans and execution
• Concept, develop and execute key market and consumer research projects
• Data driven to track and optimize spend and business performance.
• Collaborate with our regulatory, R&D, legal, and compliance teams to ensure that our labels are compliant within specific North American markets
• Track marketplace activity by observing trends and preparing competitor analysis

Bottom Line Accountability

• Successful execution of all programs (on budget and on time) included with annual marketing plan

Experience & Skillset:

· Post-Secondary Education in Business Administration, and/or Sales or Marketing

· Minimum 3 years of related experience preferably within a consumer packaged goods environment

· Work experience in the Sports Nutrition supplement category is preferred

· Knowledge, understanding, and passion for Sports Nutrition supplements is an asset

· Solid understanding of nutritional supplements and ingredients is an asset

• Strong analytical skills to help identify growth opportunities and address issues
• Experience in copy writing and/or social content is an asset

· Proactive and able to continuously manage change in an extremely fast paced, energetic work environment

• Customer service oriented – managing customer issues and feedback
• Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite
• Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills
• Must be available flexible hours throughout the year and may require travel within Canada and the US
