Job Description

4YE (four-why-ee) is a streetwear brand at the intersection of community, culture and fashion. Launched in Toronto in 2020, 4YE has reached over 100,000 customers globally.We are committed to creating streetwear that embodies our brand values and resonates with our diverse audience.


Our dynamic and rapidly growing label is seeking a creative, result-oriented and self-motivated Assistant Brand Manager to join our Brampton-based studio. This role offers a broad scope, encompassing all areas of communication with a focus on social media, public relations, marketing, and events.


We are looking for a talented and experienced Assistant Brand Manager who will work closely with the Creative Director to help develop and implement effective brand-building strategies. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to take on a leadership position, contribute your ideas, brainstorm innovative concepts, and execute plans to meet sales and communication objectives.


Additionally, you will play a key role in executing and developing brand strategy, increasing sales, and enhancing the brand's presence through well-crafted marketing plans and campaigns.


Our Assistant Brand Manager must possess a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a passion for driving brand growth, as well as a highly creative eye and entrepreneurial mindset. You will lead a team of talented individuals, working collaboratively to drive sales, enhance brand visibility, and foster brand loyalty.


This part-time & hybrid role requires 3-4 days a week based at our Downtown Brampton studio. It offers an exciting opportunity to grow with the brand in a positive and inspiring studio environment.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, production, and sales, to ensure seamless communication and alignment in executing brand initiatives
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer insights, industry trends, and competitive positioning, informing strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director to develop and execute brand strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives, with a specific focus on driving sales and brand awareness
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external agencies and partners, fostering strong collaborations and ensuring high-quality deliverables
  • Identify resource requirements and gaps
  • Ensure that projects run smoothly from start to finish by helping with planning and execution
  • Manage and report on brand budgets and resources effectively, ensuring optimal allocation and cost-effective marketing activities
  • Lead the execution of brand activations, collaborations, and partnerships to enhance brand visibility and reach
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the brand team, nurturing their professional development and fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture
  • Monitor brand performance metrics, analyzing data to derive actionable insights and drive continuous improvement in brand positioning and marketing efforts
  • Stay updated on industry trends, cultural movements, and consumer preferences to drive innovative brand strategies and keep 4YE at the forefront of the market


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, social media management, and content creation is a plus
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team towards achieving common goals
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • A genuine interest and understanding for 4YE brand and ethos
  • 3-4 years of experience in brand or business management, marketing, or a related leadership role, preferably in the fashion or streetwear industry
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and executing brand strategies that drive sales and enhance brand equity
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey brand messaging effectively and engage with diverse audiences
  • Results-oriented mindset with a passion for driving brand growth and achieving measurable outcomes
  • Strategic thinker with a keen eye for market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive brand insights and decision-making
  • Open to those located in Toronto/GTA and with demonstrated interests in the creative/fashion industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
