In this role, you will be part of a team of self-motivated and well-respected team members, driving executional excellence for the President's Choice Insiders Report program. This role sits under the control brand marketing portfolio and focusses on the launch of new innovation and existing products during the Summer and Holiday seasons. As a Manager on this team, your day-to-day will entail collaborating enterprise-wide across multiple partner groups (e.g. internal/external agency, divisional retail teams, media counterparts, etc.) to ensure detailed delivery of the marketing plan. Successful candidates will have strong attention to detail, proven understanding of brand marketing and a passion for all-things food.


Core Responsibilities:


  • Campaign Planning: Handles the planning process for small to moderate marketing campaigns; responsible for developing marketing briefs, including handling review cycles with senior decision-makers and working with partners to capture inputs to advise briefs; ensures the marketing briefs align to strategic and annual plan objectives
  • Campaign/Program Strategy: Translates brand-level strategic objectives into campaign/program-level plans; collaborates with partners to compile consumer/business insights (e.g., insights from the Customer CoE) and previous campaign findings and uses these insights to advise the campaign strategy and brief; works with Marketing leaders to clearly define meaningful metrics and objectives for each campaign
  • Optimization, Innovation & Best Practices: Coordinates the post-mortem process, including working with partners to compile campaign performance report reports with key metrics, facilitating post-mortem discussions, documenting findings, and briefing Director/Sr. Director on the takeaways to share throughout the marketing organization
  • Campaign Execution: Leads campaign execution; acts as the primary point of contact for internal/external agency counterparts, and other partners (e.g., Loblaw Media, Loblaw Digital) for the review and execution of creative; key contact for actioning other execution-related needs from the Division/Merchant teams, or local store operations
  • Control Brand Programs: Supports the portfolio-level execution of Control Brand programs within the guidelines set by the CB marketing team
