Job Description

The Compensation Analyst manages the incentive pay calculations for sales-based roles. They calculate monthly, quarterly and annual incentive payouts, work closely with the payroll team, compensation team and SWM leadership to ensure calculations are timely and accurate.
This competitively rewarded role will enjoy hybrid working arrangements which can be fulfilled primarily from Lower Mainland based home office and the Vancity Head Office in Vancouver. Periodically, in-person events or activities will be required of you.
A Typical Day Would Involve
  • Work with other departments to ensure the incentive compensation data is approved and processed timely and accurately
  • Pull compensation reporting data from multiple systems and manipulate into Excel spreadsheets to allow it to be analyzed. Develop tools and methods to support analysis process.
  • Monitor, analyze and compile compensation data for a variety of compensation plans to create payout submission files for plans based on their payout cadence.
  • Review and improve current processes for efficiencies. Use of Power BI and databases would be an asset.
  • Support with other compensation and total rewards projects and responsibilities as needed

  • Curious & innovative: You enjoy staying up to date on industry trends, exploring insights behind major headlines, and are future focused.
