An Overview Of Your Future Role At BBA

Reporting to the Vice President, Advisory Services, you will be responsible of the business growth and the execution of the operational plan for Decarbonization Advisory Services. You will leverage your expertise, industry knowledge, and professional network to achieve the Firm’s objectives. In addition, you will be accountable for the national and international alignment of the strategic, tactical, and operational aspects of the Decarbonization services offered by BBA.

An Overview Of Your Mandates And Responsibilities

• Identify and assess key decarbonization skills that are needed to perform high quality work and expand our markets, then hire and on-board qualified people.
• Identify and establish new business opportunities by building a network of prospects, being accountable of the review and/or approve qualifications, expressions of interest and proposals.
• Support proposal preparation through creative thinking and alternative approaches.
• Manage project risks and implement means to eliminate or mitigate them.
• Decarbonization business plan.
• Lead the decarbonization service strategy and execution in collaboration with all parts of the business
• Decarbonization mandates
• Manage assigned human, technological, informational and financial resources.
• Plan and manage operational activities while also managing business development in Decarbonization
• Address a variety of cross-disciplinary technical challenges to ensure cost-effective, safe, and timely completion of
• Deliver analysis and work with cross-functional teams on strategic, tactical and operational initiatives related to the
• Provide insight and analysis to facilitate and support business decisions
• Lead the preparation of the annual and five (5) year strategic business plan for the Decarbonization service area
• Participate in the analysis of market segments
• Be responsible for producing key performance indicators of the Decarbonization practice

Overview Of Certifications And Job Requirements

• Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to write clear, concise and compelling content
• In-depth knowledge of the decarbonisation expertise in the heavy industrial sector such as Mining, Aluminium, Power,
• Advanced Fuels and Chemicals, etc.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience as Professional Consultant
• English is a requirement.
• Member in good standing of one of the Canadian Engineering associations
• Ability to operate and adapt in a demanding, fast-paced environment by managing flexible hours, multiple tasks,competing priorities, numerous stakeholders and tight deadlines
• Ability to frequently travel to domestic or international destinations
• ASSET Bilingual is an asset (English and French), both spoken and written. SPANISH is an asset.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant program of study
