Aerospace Engineer Jobs

We are a space exploration startup company based in Toronto seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and experienced aerospace engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for helping us research, design, and develop our first prototypes of spacecraft. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the space exploration industry and be part of a team that aims to make a significant impact on humanity's future in space.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to the development of technical reports and presentations to potential investors
• Performing mathematical modeling and simulations to evaluate spacecraft performance
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols
• Collaborating with the team to design and develop spacecraft prototypes
• Conducting research on space exploration technologies, including propulsion systems, materials, and control systems
• Analyzing data from tests and experiments to identify issues and make recommendations for improvements

Qualifications

• Experience in designing, building, or testing spacecraft or other aerospace systems
• Strong knowledge of space exploration technologies and industry standards
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Bachelor's or higher degree in aerospace engineering or a related field
• Proficiency in relevant software tools and programming languages (e.g., MATLAB, Python, CAD software)
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic startup environment
