Assist management in tracking engineering progress in terms of delivery and budget performance

Knowledge and experience with vision systems, battery systems and/or Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV)

Design automation systems that meet customer requirements and specifications using AutoCAD Electrical software

Completed post-secondary education in electrical engineering or controls technology

Experience with AutoCAD Electrical for drawing

Experience in model-based systems engineering and systems requirements modelling.

Develop high-level system requirements, based upon the end user needs and/or stated requirements

Develop system architecture to meet safety requirements and allocate the requirements to hardware, software mechanical etc. to maintain required safety levels

Develop and ensure proper documentation of technical and interface requirements

Minimum 4+ years of experience in systems engineering is required.

Familiarity with flight software would also be a benefit.

Engages in contractor safety management activities, including contractor selection and prequalification, monitoring work site compliance, and measuring performance.

Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively communicate with peers and members of management.

Facilitates the implementation of the This Company Safety Management System, ensuring alignment with objectives and expectations.

Has at least seven years of experience as a safety professional in the oil and gas, petrochemicals, or related industries.

Possesses comprehensive experience in both occupational and process safety.

Develops associated safety processes and participates in self-assessments to evaluate effectiveness.

•Strong knowledge of product lifecycle management tools (CATIA, ENOVIA, VPM Nav)

•Having knowledge of A220 engineering, drawing and configuration management is an asset

5 years of experience with aircraft structure design’

Experience with detailed design and architecture and all phases of typical aircraft programs

Experience with plain airframes, pneumatics, hydraulics

Experience working with SRM (Structured Repair Manuals)

Knowledge or experience in creation, review and management of deliverables according to the ISO 26262:2018 standard for automotive functional safety

Knowledge or experience with automotive diagnostics management

Provide those safety requirements to the SDO manager to support propulsion system programs.

Great communication skills – able to speak in technical terms and be able on elaborate engineering and/or safety requirements

Knowledge or experience with IBM Doors or other ALM tool

Knowledge or experience with the Dassault ENOVIA systems engineering PLM tool

Excellent knowledge of Aviation Safety Management Systems (SMS);

College Diploma in a related field or equivalent experience;

Minimum of five years’ experience in aviation;

Knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs);

Knowledge of bowties is an asset;

Knowledge of IOSA is an asset;

Experience on risk management systems and processes to identify and mitigate system safety risks

Support the development of safety and systems assurance standards in partnership with management.

Applies risk management principles and disciplines in the assessment of system safety management activities.

Support the training of CMREA risk management principles and disciplines in the assessment of management’s safety activities.

Bachelor’s degree in systems Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred and a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent.

Knowledge and understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements governing safety and system assurance related to the rail, bus, and construction industry

Demonstrated ability to lead, engage, and manage tasking of cross-functional teams of varying skills/experience

Define impact analysis for proposed changes to the system and support System Configuration Management through the whole lifecycle

Ability to communicate complex ideas to peers, management, and customers in a simplified manner

Knowledge and/or experience working with Railway, Signaling Applications and/or ERTMS systems

Establish stakeholders internal / external and define responsibilities for each

Develop processes required for integration of Fire Life Safety requirements

Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail.

Attend quarterly Registration Management Committee meetings (Americas Aerospace Quality Group)

Can reside in Canada or US and work remotely from home.

Required over 7 years of experience with GHG standards (CARB, GHG Protocol, ISO-14064, TCFD, CDP)

The incumbent is required to be a certified Aerospace Industry Experienced Lead auditor for AS9100 and AS9120 standards under OASIS.

Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment

Experience in designing, building, or testing spacecraft or other aerospace systems

Strong knowledge of space exploration technologies and industry standards

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong communication and teamwork abilities
