Aerospace Engineer Intermediate Jobs

Assist management in tracking engineering progress in terms of delivery and budget performance

Knowledge and experience with vision systems, battery systems and/or Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV)

Design automation systems that meet customer requirements and specifications using AutoCAD Electrical software

Completed post-secondary education in electrical engineering or controls technology

Experience with AutoCAD Electrical for drawing

Experience with TIA Portal, Rockwell Software or Sysmac Studio

Qualifications: (experience needed and education)

Minimum 1 years of experience in aerospace painting

Trade certification in painting an asset

Correction of imperfections on the aircraft body

Champion quality management process definition, implementation, and improvement activities.

Planning and management of supplier assessment/selection programs.

Provide reporting and assessment to the Management team regarding Quality Management.

A minimum of 5 years in a quality management role in an aerospace manufacturing environment.

Robust knowledge and awareness of certification planning and execution within the aerospace regulation domain.

Self-motivated to develop and maintain skill set and product knowledge to maximize value and to deliver quality services.

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in supply chain management, production control, procurement, business, quality assurance or related field (preferred qualification)

Experience working on process improvement teams or possess Six Sigma certification (preferred)

Manufacturing Experience – 5-10 years, preferably in Machine Shop/Sheet Metal

Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (2010 Excel basic skills required)

Strong interpersonal communication and problem solving skills

Proactively work with the supplier to monitor all parts to support On-time deliveries to our aerospace customers

Experience in Engineering Change-Management and Air Systems is a added advantage

Attend quarterly Registration Management Committee meetings (Americas Aerospace Quality Group)

Can reside in Canada or US and work remotely from home.

Required over 7 years of experience with GHG standards (CARB, GHG Protocol, ISO-14064, TCFD, CDP)

The incumbent is required to be a certified Aerospace Industry Experienced Lead auditor for AS9100 and AS9120 standards under OASIS.

Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment

Experience in designing, building, or testing spacecraft or other aerospace systems

Strong knowledge of space exploration technologies and industry standards
