Maintain and/or advise other occupations on the maintenance of the electromechanical and refrigeration requirements of telecommunications equipment

Manage the life-cycle of material related to various telecommunications and information systems

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all types of radios, radar and data processing, cryptographic, terminal, audio and video equipment

Perform inspections, performance tests and adjustments on strategic and tactical fixed and mobile telecommunications equipment

Perform repairs, overhaul and support maintenance on telecommunications equipment

Perform installations and acceptance tests

Communicate effectively with Leonardo Helicopters on-site personnel, Customers, Regulators and other internal IMP departments regarding Quality Management System and Program requirements.

Working knowledge of Flight Safety Programs or Safety Management Systems (SMS) beneficial.

Familiar with Program Management principles, Lean Manufacturing and 6S concepts would be an asset.

Knowledge and/or experience with aircraft inspection, measuring and test equipment beneficial.

Be capable of leading discussions with staff, management, customers and regulators.

Collaborate with the LHUK Quality Manager on CMLU Quality activities.

Champion quality management process definition, implementation, and improvement activities.

Planning and management of supplier assessment/selection programs.

Provide reporting and assessment to the Management team regarding Quality Management.

A minimum of 5 years in a quality management role in an aerospace manufacturing environment.

Robust knowledge and awareness of certification planning and execution within the aerospace regulation domain.

Self-motivated to develop and maintain skill set and product knowledge to maximize value and to deliver quality services.

Post-secondary education and/or equivalent work experience

Experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection)

3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

Currently have your CGSB Level 2 Certification in UT (Ultrasonic)

Direct and perform a variety of nondestructive inspections and test of production and developmental processes and materials.

Perform nondestructive tests using specified procedures and techniques, and maintain test data as required.

Be available to travel for multiple days to remote locations ( >80%)

The ability to autonomously manage time and handle multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting client / team expectations

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to manage time to maintain scheduling in order to meet appropriate deadlines

Learn to execute various data acquisition and assessment procedures specific to pipeline integrity programs

Receive training to install, test, adjust and/or repair rectifiers, anodes, and CP test points / stations

College Diploma as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist or Technician and/or relevant trade certification with Metrology experience.

Intermediate computer skills and experience including Microsoft Office Suite, CAD/CAM.

Demonstrated ability to interpret GD&T and drawing requirements.

Welding and weld inspection experience.

Experience with CMM programming & operation including PCDMIS software.

Electrical Assembly (cable harness, PCB, PLC) production or inspection experience.

Offers quality control & supply chain services including inspection, logistics, auditing, consulting & training

Check/inspect manufactured parts or products for defects

Read and follow work instructions and general policies

Use measuring or testing equipment as needed

Follow instructions from your Site Supervisor / Site Leader

Serves the automotive, aerospace and heavy transportation industries

Act as a liaison between Site Manager and inspectors

Computer skills Microsoft Office (basic Microsoft Excel proficiency) and Outlook

1+ years of work experience in a supervisory role preferred

Establishing and maintaining relationships with customers and site personnel

Daily communications with various stakeholders at the site level

Set up and supervise missions
