Job Description
We have an immediate opening in our Langley office for a full-time Fresh Produce Quality Control Specialist.
We are looking for people who have background experience with fresh produce knowledge and some food safety training (we do train in house as well). In this Quality Control role you will be performing on daily In-processes and final QC inspection procedures for our produce and supplies. This role offers stable hours with job security as it is a full-time position. We offer a competitive starting wage based on your experience, and offer a ton of room for internal growth within our company. What you need to know:
This is a full-time, temporary to permanent opportunity
Location: Langley, BC
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Shift time: 6:00AM-2:30PM
Salary: $22/H+ (based on experience)

This is a Transit Accessible Location
You are legally permitted to work full-time in British Columbia and are located near the Langley region

Responsibilities
  • Coordination and monitoring of transportation referencing to temperature of product
  • May be physically demand for bursts of time throughout your day
  • Managing inventory regarding product quality
  • Must have the ability to review product upon arrival and report quality issues and deficiencies
  • Assisting with coaching, teaching and training of staff referring to fresh produce and quality deficiencies
  • Keeping a good attention to detail
  • HACCP (Food Safety)
Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills in order to report product condition
  • Knowledge of fresh produce and a background in quality control
  • Ability to work in high-paced environment
  • Team player, adaptable, and energetic with a positive professional attitude
  • Must be experienced with managing product inventory, FIFO program when required
  • Must have the ability to review product upon arrival and recognize quality issues and deficiencies
  • Good time management skills
