Job Description

Full-Time, 1 Year Contract + High probability of continuous extensions

Onsite, 5 Days/Week, 8 - 4:30 PM


THE OPPORTUNITY:

Our client is a leader in bulk material handling & port operations located in North Vancouver, and is a vital link within the supply chain, transporting commodities from Canada to global markets.

Come join their team as an Equipment Inspection Coordinator and utilize your strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate Structural and Mechanical equipment inspections through third-party contractors and consulting companies.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Promoting and maintaining culture of cooperation and excellence between Maintenance, Operations, Safety, and Engineering factions
  • Communicating and coordinating with Maintenance, Operations, and other parties on site regarding all required work
  • Providing effective management of inspections and repair projects, demonstrating excellent safety practices
  • Ensuring all projects and repairs meet company standards and deliverables are executed on time and within budget

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience conducting third-party inspections in an industrial environment
  • Proficiency using MS Office Suite, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • 3+ years in an administrative, planning, or project management role
  • Experience working in a highly industrial environment (terminal experience will be an asset)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Related trade, technologist, or engineering certification or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Technical knowledge of structural assets, specifically towers and conveyors
  • Experience in material bulk loading/unloading
