WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The Selective Technician supports the St Marys Plant located in St Marys, Ontario, and supervises and coordinates workers engaged in the predictive maintenance activities within the mechanical maintenance department. This includes vibration and collection analysis, oil sampling and analysis and thermal imaging and analysis and managing projects for plant improvements and upgrades.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
The ideal candidate will have a college degree or technical diploma in a mechanical field plus 1-3 years related experience in a similar role; has a strong desire to work with a team and mentor their development; has the ability to document and follow procedures; is a constructive thinker and can analyze, interpret and evaluate situations; can withstand the physicality of sitting, standing, walking or working in awkward or confined, restricted places and outside conditions; has the ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal formats; and is comfortable using Microsoft Office, SAP, Kronos and other computer software.
