We are looking for a local, permanent, part-time Administrative Specialist to join our group of dedicated and fun-loving professional engineers and technologists.
The successful candidate will work part-time (24-30 hours per week), with flexible office hours. Your start and stop time can adjust to meet your lifestyle.
In this position you will provide support to office staff with day-to-day administrative activities. Working in a positive and professional work environment at our new South Surrey office, you will have the following responsibilities:
-Accounts Receivable and AR Collections
-Accounts Payable
-Monthly expense reconciliation
-Management of employee timesheets and expense information
-Implementation and management of office procedures
-Handling sensitive information in a confidential manner
-Management of office supplies and services
-Performing light computer work using Microsoft Office programs
-Other office duties as deemed necessary and general office organization
The ideal candidate:
-Is an enthusiastic and personable self-starter who is organized, reliable, and thorough
-Has the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks throughout the day
-Has experience in an administrative and/or office management role
-Has working knowledge of accounting software and bookkeeping practices.
