Your opportunity:

We are seeking an experiencedAccounting Technicianto join our growing team.Our team is a collaboration of young professionals, offering a flexible and inclusive work environment.Enjoy a flexible work week with the opportunity for hybrid work. What is required:

• Preparation of tax and information returns (T1, T2s, T4s, T5s, GST/HST).
• Work closely with the business founder on client files and planning matters.
• Efficiently work on compilation engagements, payroll and bookkeeping engagements for various businesses.
• Assist clients with accounting software, bookkeeping, and data entry as assigned.
• Pay rate is hourly and dependent upon experience and skill set ($35-$55)

Your experience and education

• You have the ability to prioritize with the flexibility to manage workload demands and multiple tasks as required
• You have completed, at minimum, a certificate in Accounting or Business
• You display strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• You have previous experience with accounting programs, including Caseware, Jazz-It, QuickBooks Online, CCH iFirm.
• You have experience in a boutique public practice accounting firm.
• You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
