As the Developer student, you will develop application components to streamline business processes. As well, you will provide application support to both systems solutions and business needs. • Job location: Calgary, AB – Head Office
• Shift schedule: 5d2x/ 8HR (Full-Time) or max 20 hours per week (Part-Time). This posting is for a variety of positions - including full-time, part-time, and a combination of full-time and part-time opportunities. Please indicate your availability when completing the pre-screen questionnaire for this application. Full-Time is 5d2x/ 8HR and Part-Time is max 20 hours per week.
• Term start: January, May, or September 2024
• Term length: 4 or 8 months

Key Accountabilities

• Develop applications and configure modules within the IBM Maximo EAM System
• Develop analytic reports using Power BI, Tableau or SSRS
• Manage multiple tasks with high levels of effectiveness and enthusiasm
• Designing new applications based on business requirements streamline business processes and functions using C#, Python, SQL and other scripting language
• Develop and maintain functional/technical specifications and documentation
• Work with and learn from systems analysts and developers throughout the lifecycle of an application within the enterprise system
• Analyze, design and develop applications through the development of application logic, user interfaces, data interfaces, data conversion scripts and reports
• Troubleshoot, debug and fix problems that occur in the everyday use of an application/interface or SQL query

What You Bring To The Role

• Familiarity with one or more of the following technologies: VB.NET, C#.NET, ASP.NET, Blazor, Entity Framework, MS SQL Server, Orchestrator, Angular, Remedy, Tableau, Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services, Microsoft Access, Informatica, Oracle and Oracle Fusion.
• Modern programming language knowledge in either Java/Jython/Python/C++
• Currently enrolled in your 2nd or 3rd year of a degree/diploma Program in Information Technology or Computer Science
