Job Description
Our Client is an independent local growing professional accounting firm with a diverse team of professionals. Our Client is excited to expand their team with a dedicated Accounting Technician Manager who shares the same values and is ready to contribute to a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding work environment. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to their client’s success and growth of the firm. As a trusted advisor, you’ll design solutions for clients that meet compliance and reporting requirements, minimize risk, drive efficiencies, and maximize returns.


Requirements


Qualifications


  • Experience with a paperless office is considered an asset.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a designated accountants office
  • Mentoring and leading a small internal team, including ongoing follow up with staff on behalf of the partners.
  • Ability to mange group tax files with similar owners or one person who owns multiple companies.
  • Experience with not-for-profit audits.
  • Understanding of Cloud, Adobe, scanning and converting documents
  • Experience with tax planning to minimize taxation with personal and corporate integrated plans.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, Caseware, Jazzit and TaxCycle.
  • Proficient in the preparation, review and completion of personal and corporate tax files.
  • CPA designation required.
