Supervisor, Production Accounting
Recruitment Partners is currently seeking an experienced Supervisor, Production Accounting to join our client’s team in Calgary. The successful candidate will be responsible for the production and associated revenue accounting activities. Be part of a dynamic team and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To

• Develop and maintain strong, independent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
• Ensure full compliance with internal controls and corporate policies
• Interpret various gas handling agreements to configure plant set up and maintain records for Take or Pay obligations to ensure accurate settlement invoicing and contract adherence
• Lead, mentor and support a team of production accountants to ensure complete and accurate full cycle production and revenue accounting for complex gas plants
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve production and measurement audits queries in a timely manner
• Prepare monthly accounting accruals for gas gathering, compression, and processing revenue
• Coordinate with Operations and Commercial Services teams to accommodate for changes to customer activities;

Your strengths include:

• Strong technical knowledge of gas plant allocations, measurement, interpretation of schematics as well as Regulatory reporting requirements
• CPA designation with 10+ years’ experience in oil and gas
• Knowledge of TIPS and SAP, will be an asset
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills to deliver accurate and timely results
