Position Title: Accounting Flight Coordinator
Line of business: Airmiles Support
Duration/end date: 3 months
Working hours: 9-5pm EST
OT requirements: Based on requirements with Pre-approvals
Working Location: 100% Remote within an EST time zone
Role Mandate:
As the Accounting Flight Coordinator of Rewards Accounting, you will be responsible for ensuring travel/airline booking & fulfilment data integrity through detailed quality control and corrections handling; working with airline partners to ensure payments/refunds/debit memos are processed accurately and timely in accordance with IATA and individual airline policies and procedures.
Role Responsibilities:
• Daily quality control - Run & review travel/flight QC reports - investigate & correct sales & servicing data in financial travel system (Agresso/Unit4) interfaced from front office/Sabre
• High volume data entry – ensure integrity and mathematical accuracy for revenue & expense reconciliation and reporting.
• Ability to Read Sabre fare remarks & ticketing queues for passenger refund processing - via Sabre mask (nice to have)
• Update travel/flight booking data in accounting system, create refund accounting lines as required for serviced airline tickets.
• Calculate and add Canadian VAT taxes as required
• Other Adhoc duties as assigned
Must Have Skills:
• CANADIAN Tax Education experience
• Minimum of 3 years of direct operational work experience in accounting
• Experience working with airlines and/or BSP/IATA operational understanding within a high-volume processing environment.
• Experience with accounting software, Agresso/Unit4 would be an asset (preferred, not required)
• Proficient in MS Excel & MS Word
• Works well under pressure in time sensitive environment
• Strong verbal & written communication
• Fast learner who is trainable
• Dependable, acts with integrity & exercises good judgement
Excellent team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude

Agresso (Willing to Train)
Interviews: 1-2 rounds of MS teams (as required)
