Accounting Clerk - Admin Support

A DAY IN THE LIFE

The Accounting clerk, reporting to the AR Manager, will support the Cash Application and Collection Teams. The successful candidate’s mandate will be to proactively complete specific daily AR tasks with accuracy. This position will require direct collaboration with the AR team, the Branch Offices, Shared Services as well as external customers with a focus on customer service.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Recommend procedures to ensure minimal errors in billings and proper cash applications
• Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities
• Patient follow-up emails for outstanding accounts
• Participates in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Is responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns.
• Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel
• Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures.
• Assist with preparation and mailing monthly billing statements and past due invoices
• Complete other tasks as requested
• Accurate data entry into various systems.
• Reconcile AR accounts as required
• Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System
• Complete cash applications if required

Core Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• High school student
