Location: Pickering - Hybrid
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of periodic payroll reports.
- Coordinate and process payroll in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with the sales team to resolve any billing issues or disputes.
- Calculate and process employee wages, deductions, and benefits accurately.
- Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer payments.
- Verify the accuracy of vendor invoices, purchase orders, and other supporting documents.
- Prepare and distribute employee pay stubs and annual tax forms.
- Generate and send accurate and timely invoices to customers.
- Maintain an up-to-date record of customer transactions and communications.
- Assist in the preparation of periodic financial reports related to accounts payable.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll matters.
- Collect and review timesheets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a team.
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a must have requirement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on AR, AP, payroll.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
