Job Description

Tenure: Full-Time

Location: Pickering - Hybrid


Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of periodic payroll reports.
  • Coordinate and process payroll in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to resolve any billing issues or disputes.
  • Calculate and process employee wages, deductions, and benefits accurately.
  • Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer payments.
  • Verify the accuracy of vendor invoices, purchase orders, and other supporting documents.
  • Prepare and distribute employee pay stubs and annual tax forms.
  • Generate and send accurate and timely invoices to customers.
  • Maintain an up-to-date record of customer transactions and communications.
  • Assist in the preparation of periodic financial reports related to accounts payable.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll matters.
  • Collect and review timesheets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a team.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a must have requirement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on AR, AP, payroll.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
