Accounting Associate Jobs

The ideal candidate will be well organized and comfortable dealing with financial data. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll and conducting other tasks related to finance. They should be excellent at recording data and have an ability to produce clear financial reports with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Balancing subsidiary accounts to reconcile accounts
• Recording all transactions
• The ability to use various financial transactions such as accounts payable and accounts receivable
• The ability to communicate complex financial data with other members
• Great interpersonal skills that enable clear and effective communication with other employees and team members
• Good data entry skills
• Using a system to account for the financial transactions made by the company to establish a chart of accounts
• Track expenses, budget, taxes, cash flow, receipts and other financial dealings of company
• Familiarity with the general principles of accounting
• Provide regular financial reports (weekly, monthly and yearly)
• Preparing financial reports by analyzing, collecting, and condensing account trends and information
• Ensure timely processing of payroll and verify time-sheet entries of employees
• The ability to work on multiple projects while adhering to tight deadlines
• Ensuring all financial actions comply with local legal requirements
• Fact-checking accounting information
• Disseminating reports to staff
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Detail oriented
• 3+ years of experience in related field
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• Strong organizational and analytical skills

Compensation: $20.00 per hour

Work hours: up to 40 hours per week
