Manage and process all invoices and payments for all development projects.

Assist the VP of Finance with regular reporting to banks and other financial institutions.

2+ years of accounting experience

Collect and record receipt of all invoices, and statements, matching PO’s & CO’s.

Process all change orders, purchase orders and unit upgrades through the accounting software.

Experience in Management Accounting (i.e. understanding of entries/double entries in finance)

Embrace and utilize a culture with regular kaizen activities, leveraging daily management and continuous process improvement to achieve sustainable competitive advantage.

1-2 years of finance and accounting experience

Manage and complete daily tasks (vendor, customer setups & project creations)

Support and assist in data entry tasks (payroll, warranty, etc)

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required

Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience.

Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.

Assist the Manager or coworkers with any other tasks or job duties that may be required.

Knowledge of tax regulations and experience with tax preparation is a plus.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

4+ years of experience in public accounting

Experience in real estate and/or nonprofits preferred

Prior experience with CCH software products (Axcess Tax, Engagement, Document) is a plus

You will report to the Divisional Accounting Manager based in British Columbia, Canada.

Ø Prepare Sales Order profitability report and distribute to sales department, accounting manager and VP Flexible Packaging.

Ø Perform inventory cost and quantity adjustments to facilitate shipping and accurate gross profit margin

Some of the Weekly Duties

Minimum of 3 years of management consulting experience gained at a top-tier management consulting firm

Act as an “in-house management consultant” – apply strategic thinking and creativity to solve complex Corporate Strategy problems

Strategy development experience across a variety of strategic problems such as new market entry, new product launch, competitive assessments, etc.

Exceptional written presentation skills, with the ability to prepare informative and impactful presentation decks to express complex ideas graphically

Insurance industry experience is not necessary

Build data-driven business cases around fraud strategies to manage the risk on new & existing products

Has experience working with large datasets and languages like SQL, R, or Python; databases like Snowflake, Redshift, MySQL

Has experience working with data visualization softwares such as Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, etc

Manage overall governance and compliance processes and requirements for the Department

Perform ad-hoc financial management analysis as required by AE management

Demonstrated experience and knowledge of accounting and budgeting concepts.

Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business or equivalent, with a professional accounting designation

A minimum of 3 years experience in an accounting roleand similar position and experienced in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be as asset.

Reconcile records with internal company employees and management, or external vendors or customers.

Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management.

Knowledge of purchasing methods and procedures including open market purchasing and formal contracting and negotiating techniques.

Manage PO process, receive and verify invoices against approved PO and packing slips for goods and services;

Data entry into the accounting system.

Comply with the government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Intermediate level Accounting, Finance and Analysis skills

Accounting Diploma, Degree, or equivalent experience
