Position Description
We are recruiting an Account Manager for the Vancouver area. This is a tremendous opportunity for individuals who appreciate working on a highly interactive, engaged and supportive surgical sales team. As an Account Manager covering Vancouver / BC area, you are an energetic and motivated self-starter. You enjoy establishing strong relationships with both new and existing clients and following up on leads. As a product expert, you understand what surgeons and their teams need and connect with them on a personal level. You will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

• Provide the highest levels of support and service to your accounts
• Exceed quota expectations as established by management
• Establish and maintain strong relationships and contacts in assigned accounts
• Manage the full breadth of products in your territory

Position Requirements
This position requires demonstrable experience with the following skills and attributes:

• You are a driven and enthusiastic self-starter with a passion to win
• Strong relationships and understanding of the Canadian healthcare and medical device markets
• Must live in the Vancouver area or be willing to relocate
• You have excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• You have demonstrated the ability to establish professional relationships with key decision-makers in operating theatres and procurement departments
• Experience calling on surgeons, OR directors, nurse managers, clinical coordinators, nurse educators, and materials management administrators.
• 4 year Bachelors or Masters degree preferably in business, science or nursing.
• To ensure the safety of our team members and patients, we require Field team members to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, subject to state and local law
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• 2 + years of medical/surgical device sales experience, including operating room experience.
• Proven goal oriented, self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial drive
• Demonstrated performance record with clear documentation of success
• Professional sales experience with formal sales training
