Our client an Advertising leader with a unique SaaS product is seeking an Account Executive. As the primary representative of our company, you will be responsible for introducing our brand and programmatic product suite to Enterprise and Agency clients. Under the guidance of the VP of Sales Canada, your role will involve establishing contacts, building relationships, providing strategic solutions, negotiating contracts, and ensuring client retention.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing a portfolio of existing accounts and pursuing new prospects.
- Managing the entire sales cycle, adopting a Challenger approach to selling.
- Cultivating meaningful relationships with high-level stakeholders.
- Collaborating closely with the client success, campaign management, and product teams.
- Handling strategic enterprise deals that involve complex sales cycles.
- Selling SaaS platform to tier one agency connections, leveraging its power and capabilities.
- Acquiring new clients and fostering growth within existing accounts.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualities:
- Excellent problem-solving skills, enabling you to identify client needs and propose expansion opportunities proactively.
- Coachable nature, eager to learn and develop, open to feedback, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
- Proven track record of establishing connections with tier one agencies as a hunter.
- Willingness to take risks and embrace the role of a hunter.
- Results-driven mindset with a strong sense of accountability.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team.
We expect you to bring the following qualifications and experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in selling strategic SaaS platforms, programmatic solutions, or ad-tech
- Demonstrated ability to manage long and complex sales cycles, with a strong history of success.
- Experience in selling to tier one agencies, with a solid understanding of their operations and requirements.
