Job Title

2023 Law, Fall Junior Analyst/Associate (4 Months)

What will you do?

• Participate in Agile sprint planning, reviews and create sprint stories in collaboration with application development team
• Review team documentation and provide feedback
• Develop web applications
• Support the development, design, and maintenance of services within the Legal Technology app dev portfolio
• Various tasks such as updating table entries, create program variants
• Develop accurate estimates for completion of technical tasks
• Develop interfaces to transfer data between two systems
• Provide guidance and expertise for Python solutions
• Application testing (creating test cases based on requirements and perform testing)
• Work with stakeholders to design new features and applications - including requirements gathering, development, implementation
• Create, design, analyze, develop and debug

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Ability to successfully multi-task
• Detailed knowledge of Python and .NET Core is mandatory for the success of this role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• An understanding of SQL and databases
• Experience programming in one or more of the following languages: new JS library and HTML
• Enrolled in an undergraduate degree or college diploma in a technology related field
• Knowledge in front end and backend development

Nice to have

• A working knowledge of Microsoft SQL servers and/or RDBMS
• Experience with API, Git and/or Tableau
• Knowledge working with JIRA and Confluence for collaboration/documentation
• A comprehension of Agile delivery methodology and governance

Job Summary

What is the opportunity?

The Legal Technology team manages and supports the Law Group's technology applications. This includes maintaining and producing application enhancements and support applications. In this role, you are responsible for supporting development activities. Strong communication skills are essential as you will work with end-users to gather requirements and contribute towards the development of new web applications while sustaining and enhancing existing production systems. Detailed knowledge of Python and .Net Core is mandatory for the success of this role.
