Essential Functions And Key Responsibilities

Partner with the manufacturing teams to create the Supply Plan for the assigned scope

Own the Monthly Supply Planning process in the Monthly S&OP cycle

Manage shipment flow into DCs on a daily basis to ensure on-time delivery of goods from suppliers

Manage vendors consistently to ensure vendor service levels are being met

Coordinate and manage reverse product flow throughout the company to ensure proper execution of the RTV process

2-3 years of relevant work experience in the retail/wholesale business is an asset

Previous experience in supply chain forecasting and replenishment with either Oracle, Logility, SAP and JDA Manugistics is an asset

Communicate with all key stake holders to manage product demand, availability, and optimal inventory levels

Manage the timing and allocation of new products skus and the phase-out of end-of-line skus

7 - 10 years’ proven working experience in logistics/supply chain/production planning

Excellent knowledge of S&OP planning and forecasting

Strong communication skills: ability to communicate information clearly

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

Data management capabilities; strong MS-Excel and PowerPoint skills

Bachelors/University Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain or Finance/Operations.

Key relationships: National Account Managers, Brand and Channel Marketing, Supply Chain functional leaders (Demand, Supply, and S&OP), Finance, and Customers

Demonstrated Supply Chain experience/knowledge related to Demand Planning preferably in a CPG company - minimum 3 years

Demonstrated experience/knowledge related to Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP)

Demonstrated ability to utilize quantitative and analytical skills to assess business situations and solve problems

Effectively practices commitment (or promise) based management, supporting prioritization and execution that aligns with what matters most and shared expectations

Take complete ownership of all the replenishment activities for Cerelia Toronto (approx. 70% of job duties)

Ensure smooth functioning of the S&OP process and demand forecast (approx. 20% of job duties)

University degree or relevant experience in Supply Chain

Excellent computer skills, specifically with advance Excel and PowerPoint

5-7 years of similar experience in a manufacturing environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Work with Canadian business partners (sales, planning, customer marketing, customer service) to understand changing DRP supply requirements and cost/service implications

Monitor and manage projected product obsolescence.

Managers, influencing decisions related to exceptions from plan; Escalates to Supply Planning Manager if agreement can't be reached.

Works with internal Canadian Customer Teams, Customer Service Specialists, Business Development Managers, and Sales Planning & Strategy

Completion of College or University degree in Business or Supply Chain Management

Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a Production Scheduler

Experience implementing and utilizing ERP software

Extensive knowledge of MPS/MRP, Demand Flow, JIT, Forecasting, Inventory Planning and Supply Chain Design

Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, lead business discussions and train others

What are the responsibilities of the Demand Planner jobs?

·Work with cross functional teams to support sales and finance team in revenue attainment.

3+ years of experience in demand planning role with exposure to IBP.

Strong Excel modeling, pivot table manipulation, and analysis skills.

MS office proficient with good PPT skills and outstanding MS Excel skills a must
