Job Overview:

The Supply Planner is responsible for planning both the short term and long-term supply chain plans for in scope items within the supply chain integration program. This role will work closely with external manufacturing, sales, materials and replenishment functions to deliver business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop capacity charts to support the Supply Review process and business capacity reviews and proactively determine supply risks and plans to mitigate identified risks.
• Develop and implement logistics operations initiatives associated with delivering and improving the following key performance indicators: Customer Fill Rate, Inventory targets, Waste reductions
• Participate in and/or lead key supply chain integration meeting to ensure awareness of plans and clarity on expectations and deliverables across the organization.
• Deliver results against both the short term and long-term supply plans and material requirements for the supply chain integration plans by utilizing associated system tools and supply planning strategies

Recipe for Success:

• Experience implementing and utilizing ERP software
• Completion of College or University degree in Business or Supply Chain Management
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Extensive knowledge of MPS/MRP, Demand Flow, JIT, Forecasting, Inventory Planning and Supply Chain Design
• Experience implementing and utilizing ERP software
• Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with other departments
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, lead business discussions and train others
• Highly focused and proactive.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a Production Scheduler
• Able to find new methods and principles and ability to incorporate them into existing practices as needed.
