Global Supply Planner Jobs

Work with Canadian business partners (sales, planning, customer marketing, customer service) to understand changing DRP supply requirements and cost/service implications

Monitor and manage projected product obsolescence.

Managers, influencing decisions related to exceptions from plan; Escalates to Supply Planning Manager if agreement can't be reached.

Works with internal Canadian Customer Teams, Customer Service Specialists, Business Development Managers, and Sales Planning & Strategy

Emerging team player with expert relationships building skills to build trust with customers and colleagues

Identifies variances in internal DRP sales forecasting process that risk supply – follow up with internal stakeholders for adherence to processes

Ensures proper Master Data settings and Event Management related SNP visibility (launches, re-launches, discontinuations).

Bilingualism in English and French language skills are a requirement, as this position requires collaboration with stakeholders across the Canadian market.

Post-secondary education in business or finance. Working towards an accounting designation is an asset.

Experience using or knowledge of SAP

Knowledge/experience in process improvement and automation (ie. RPA) is a distinct advantage

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).

5 years of experience within an inventory management or production planning role.

Excellent organizational and time management skills necessary.

Maintain and manage MRP requirements.

Review and manage supply plan exceptions.

Monitor, plan, and schedule production requirements to satisfy customer requirements.

Collaborate with Finite Scheduler to manage exceptions in constrained periods and update constrained plans.

Completion of College or University degree in Business or Supply Chain Management

Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a Production Scheduler

Experience implementing and utilizing ERP software

Extensive knowledge of MPS/MRP, Demand Flow, JIT, Forecasting, Inventory Planning and Supply Chain Design

Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, lead business discussions and train others

Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with other departments

Achieves agreed-upon supply service levels in accordance with inventory management performance targets to deliver a best-in-class customer experience

Drives Inventory Accuracy (also identify and manage obsolete inventory) in coordination with Distribution Requirement Planning, Product Management and Inventory Management

Proven skills in decision making, to manage dynamic business needs and complex optimization activities

Manages all issues between Production, Supply Chain and Sales regarding Finished Goods production planning

Bachelor’s degree with 3/+ years’ related supply chain experience; or 5/+ year’s experience in a related role

Experienced working with Data Analytics, deriving insights from large data sets

4+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement and/or Planning.

Knowledge of process and project management

Solid experience working with senior management

Supports negotiations with Category Management as it relates to inventory commitments and buys as well as vendor management.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply chain related field, Business Administration, Operations Management, or equivalent.

Professional designation in Supply Chain Management (eg.: CPIM) is an asset

Previous experience with merchandise planning / inventory management systems.

Proven track-record of driving results; demonstration of strong financial & business acumen for inventory management.

Provide support to Merchandising to actively manage product assortment throughout the season (inventory, MDs, etc.)

5+ years of merchandise planning experience in the apparel industry [vertical retailer experience preferred], including 2+ years experience leading others.

Omni channel experience highly desirable.

Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Assist in the implementation of action plans and share best practice for improved inventory management

On an annual basis, work with the Manufacturing and Finance teams to generate the Supply Plan for the AOP process

APICS or IBF certification preferred

ERP experience required, SAP experience preferred

Partner with the manufacturing teams to create the Supply Plan for the assigned scope

Own the Monthly Supply Planning process in the Monthly S&OP cycle

Manage the company's production planning system, ensuring that it is up-to-date and accurate

3-5 years proven experience with data analysis

Plan and tracks required production capacity for each vendor to fulfill the global demand for import products.

3-5 years proven experience with data analysis

Previous experience with merchandise and planning systems.

Expert knowledge of Excel is required.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Coordinate new product and product phase out planning with the Brand Management & Sales Team
