Summary
How You'll Perform the Role
The Supply Planner is responsible for generating and owning the Supply Plan for their assigned scope (manufacturing plants and/or products) in partnership with their business stakeholders.
Essential Functions And Key Responsibilities

• Participate in manufacturing team meetings to provide inputs regarding overall S&OP and Demand Plan, and to learn significant manufacturing changes and needs
• Analyze the current plan and assess gaps and opportunities
• On an annual basis, work with the Manufacturing and Finance teams to generate the Supply Plan for the AOP process
• Communicate changes to supply (production/inventory) to affected stakeholders in S&OP, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Logistics.
• Evaluate, analyze, make recommendations, and drive changes to improve capacity utilization; participate in meetings regarding asset utilization, capital needs, staffing, etc.
• During the monthly Supply Review, align the team on the plan for supply (production, inventory build/burn, and key raw material supply changes) at aggregated product and platform levels
• Work with Demand Planners to address issues regarding schedule/capacity challenges, inventory gaps to plan, and determining the 18-month supply view
• Facilitate Capacity and Capability analysis reviews as needed
• Work with the Master Planner and Schedulers for your sites/products to ensure that the order package is aligned with the Supply Plan and drive actions to close the future gap
• Continuous improvements to the Supply Planning process
• Own and update assigned Master Data in the ERP system
• Own the Monthly Supply Planning process in the Monthly S&OP cycle
• Partner with the manufacturing teams to create the Supply Plan for the assigned scope
• Participate in systems development and enhancements

What We Need From You

• Analytical capability
• ERP experience required, SAP experience preferred
• Databases
• Ability to communicate with business partners at different locations and different leadership levels
• May be required to come into office occasionally for few onsite meetings
• Ability to communicate the impact of the analysis
• Ability to translate data into information and conclusions
• Advanced Excel
• Relevant BA/BS degree or equivalent
• Strong judgment and confidence and business understanding to make decisions and challenge stakeholders
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or Inventory Management, experience in the food industry will be an asset
• APICS or IBF certification preferred
