General Summary
Provides key communication between Supply Chain and the Sales organization to support customer requirements. Continually monitor current processes for possible opportunities to drive efficiencies and enabler cost-savings projects.
Primary Responsibilities

Display Ready Pallet (DRP) Supply Management
  • Identifies variances in internal DRP sales forecasting process that risk supply – follow up with internal stakeholders for adherence to processes
  • Communicates ongoing directions to warehouse and re-packer operations ensuring smooth end-to-end operations and the successful ‘make-to-ship’ supply of DRP (display ready pallets) requirements to support the Canadian business
  • Work with Canadian business partners (sales, planning, customer marketing, customer service) to understand changing DRP supply requirements and cost/service implications

Optimize Product Movement
  • Communicate information to warehouse on the destruction or donation of applicable products
  • Coordinates with Sales, Planning & Strategy for possible liquidation opportunities
  • Conducts monthly reviews of SMOG (slow moving/overaged goods)

Supply Planning Responsibilities
  • Manage inventory levels (prebuilds) based on forecasting bias, process line shutdowns, sourcing changes, new products, new locations, product conversions and unique customer supply management.
  • Balance production plans within supply capability/capacity and restraints.
  • Participate and provide input to the monthly supply review with cross functional partners.
  • Analyze report data to identify network continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Responsible for the supply plan (inventory, distribution and production) to meet product demand and inventory targets for an assigned brand or product group for all channels of distribution in US Retail, as well as any international distribution.
  • Identify issues that require cross-functional resolution.
  • Lead Supply Planning for new item introductions, transitions, and product discontinuance.
  • Track Case fill, Inventory Days of Coverage, SMOG, Alerts for assigned brands.
  • Ensure that the planning models are accurate and reflect the network constraints.
  • Monitor and manage projected product obsolescence.
  • Conduct “what if” analysis and scenario plans to ensure supply of new product launches and timelines.
  • Managers, influencing decisions related to exceptions from plan; Escalates to Supply Planning Manager if agreement can't be reached.
Complexity & Scope
  • Works with internal Canadian Customer Teams, Customer Service Specialists, Business Development Managers, and Sales Planning & Strategy
  • Works with Hopewell 3rd Party Logistics
Minimum Requirements
Education: Post-Secondary Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma
Experience: 3-5 years of logistics & procurement experience
