- Own the process to apply adjustments for OOS & consequent lost sales in line with best practice.
- Analyze and improve forecast accuracy and bias. Support the identification and investigation of root cause of forecast errors and OOS under demand planning.
- Apply adjustments to history for promos / pipe fill / exceptional events when needed to ensure the cleanest historical data.
- Prepare the local Demand Review (S&OP) meetings for assigned segments/brands
- Drive the local demand meetings and align with Commercial colleagues on the Consensus LE, main risks and opportunities
- Manage/review market intelligence and projections to develop the monthly forecast. Enter inputs and allocations for promotion packs and displays.
- Suggest and support best Practice Development and continuous improvement in forecasting; either within JDA or more generally within demand planning
- Generate & provide the unconstrained shipment forecast to Supply Planning/Operations for a rolling 24-36-month period for the assigned segments/brands. The forecast becomes the basis of the Consensus LE, Operating Plans and Financial projections. Ensure the timely hand-off of these forecasts to supply planning through JDA.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Commercial team (Sales/Marketing) and Operations.
- Perform forecast modelling and adjust forecasting parameters to ensure the best possible accuracy and forecast horizon.
- May also perform additional duties as assigned.
- Report or raise any perceived workplace harassment, discrimination or violence concerns.
- Actively participate in all health and safety initiatives and activities, including incident investigations, safety meetings and training.
- Work in compliance with Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Acts and Regulations.
- Report any missing or defective equipment or protective device that may be dangerous.
- Work safely as required, following environment, health and safety policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment, safety equipment/devices, and guarding and following safe work practices.
- Immediately report workplace hazards or occupational injury/illness to a team leader/supervisor.

- Self-starter & initiative taker
- Education requirements: BA/BS preferentially Supply Chain postgrad
- CPG experience preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in preferably Demand Planning or other supply chain roles
- Forecasting software experience required (i.e. JDA Demand, Demand Solutions, etc)
- Strong Negotiation skills
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel knowledge, Power BI preferred), ERP or Manufacturing & Inventory Control software applications
