Inventory Planner Manager Jobs

Canda Six Fortune Enterprise Co. Ltd. is one of the leading importers and distributors of Asian food products from the Pacific Rim and other regions of the world. We are currently looking for a Inventory Planning Manager to join our Purchasing team in our ON / BC office.

Position Summary:

The Inventory Planning Manager reports to the Senior Purchasing Department Manager. The ideal candidate will provide support in daily review on inventory level; overseas replenishment; sales review and data analysis.

Work Schedule:

• 40 hours per week; 09:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday.

Job Responsibilities:

• Inter branch stock transfer coordinator
• Stock Replenishment/ filled and unfilled rate
• Stock Review on regional DC inventory
• Freight charge review and negotiation
• Data Analysis – vendor & product performances
• Obsolete/ Damaged Stock Control
• Supervising and monitor the execution of Inventory Management team
• Overstock control
• Set up team performance goals and KPI

Requirements / Must-Haves:

• Has experience of managing people and team
• Strong personal and people management skills
• Work under pressure to meet deadlines while producing high quality work
• Ability to plan, balance and multi-task job responsibilities based on business need
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data to analyze vendor performance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
• Has experience in international trade is a plus
• Post-secondary degree preferred or combined 5+ years of experience in inventory planning
• Fluent in written and spoken in English
• Ability to listen, take direction and learn quickly

Assets / Nice-to-Haves:

• Chinese, Korean or Japanese is a plus
