Post-secondary degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience

5-7 years’ experience in a similar role

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and skills in financial modelling

Management of Demand Forecast for department

Management of inventory principles, item attributing and size profiles

Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management

Complete size level/GMROI analysis to drive size offering decisions that aligns with total sales/inventory goals

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, Finance, or related field.

Prior experience using Chaindrive and/or demand planning tools within a specialty retailer preferred

Extensive knowledge of parts distribution and inventory management.

Works with the Senior Manager, Parts Business Technologies & Strategic Projects to develop policies and procedures for supporting branches.

Extensive experience with reporting and spreadsheets.

Short-term and long-range planning abilities.

Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.

Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Coordinate the Official Plan review and review of Secondary Plans, including coordinating public and stakeholder consultation.

Draft comprehensive zoning by-law amendments for specific areas of the City or special study areas.

Liaise with senior staff of other levels of government and negotiate approval of official plan amendments by regional and Provincial agencies.

Advise other departments, public, senior staff etc. regarding City’s Official Plan, Secondary Plans, Block Plans and other planning policy documents.

Consolidate excess inventory to a central location for management and redistribution.

Experience operating in JDE or other ERP systems

Manage excess inventory and facilitate the moving of inventory from branch to branch.

Proficient use of Microsoft Excel including index, vlookup, and keyboard shortcuts

Ensure transfer orders are loaded into JD Edwards from field operations

Maintain inventory replenishment settings for pump shops

Accountable for the management of all open purchase orders. Tracks open POs to ensure on-time delivery at the DC.

Eagerly learns new skills and capabilities to improve upon performance and drive value.

Develop and manage DC/SKU level plans by utilizing tools and procedures within the replenishment system.

Perform lead-time forecasting analysis and manage receipt flow in alignment with company objectives.

Oversees inventory balancing functions and manages annual vendor returns.
