Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Operations, or Supply Chain

Five or more years’ professional experience in transportation model estimation and application;

Experience with at least one travel demand modelling software package (Emme, Visum, TransCAD, Aimsun, CUBE);

Experience with at least one statistical/econometric software packages (Biogeme, SPSS, ALogit);

Experience in data analysis, databases, and scripting (MS Access, R, SQL, Python, VBA);

University degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Establish production requirements for short and long term and to follow up production and dispatch plans.

Deliver sustained IMS performance and adherence to use of Product Briefs for items within managed category.

Must have 3-5 years of progressive and successful supply chain experience preferably in demand planning.

Knowledge and understanding of the CPG industry and commercial environment a definite asset.

Experience implementing LEAN concepts and tools

Develop basic weekly forecasts, based on industry and market trends, including feature and promotional forecasting by SKU and product category management

Post-secondary degree or diploma in Supply Chain and Operations Management or related field

Two to three years’ experience in forecasting and demand planning (CPG in dairy is an asset)

Manage, maintain, and review the demand forecast generated in the statistical tool, Logility.

Meet with sales team to suggest modifications consistent with the knowledge of current or historical demand with a solution driven agenda

Reviews the forecasted demand with the planning director/ manager/team, for the next three months to align demand with manufacturing capacity

1-2 years of hands-on experience in customer service, planning and scheduling and/or sales areas

Microsoft D365 experience is an asset

Follows up on sales orders’ compliance against original forecast with both sales team and service assurance personnel (forecast accuracy)

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Provide key reporting to Inventory Management, Merchandising, Operations and Senior Management.

Strategic planning capabilities with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Manage Sales Forecasting, POS data bases and provide replenishment guidance for all products within Home Improvement Channel customers, Lowe’s, Home Depot

Experience with the Home Depot is highly preferred

Min 3 years of experience in Forecasting or Demand Planning for big box retailers and POS analysis is a must.

Knowledge of and experience of working with the Planning Act.

Experience using a variety of computer software relevant to supporting the Division's requirements (e.g. Microsoft Office, Adobe, WebEx, SketchUp, Photoshop, IBMS/Amanda)

Post-secondary certificate/diploma in heritage conservation or the equivalent combination of education and experience

Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to draft letters, prepare reports and deliver presentations.

What are the responsibilities of the Demand Planner jobs?

·Work with cross functional teams to support sales and finance team in revenue attainment.

Required Education, Skills And Experience

Education requirements: BA/BS preferentially Supply Chain postgrad

Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel knowledge, Power BI preferred), ERP or Manufacturing & Inventory Control software applications

Manage/review market intelligence and projections to develop the monthly forecast. Enter inputs and allocations for promotion packs and displays.

1-2 years of experience in preferably Demand Planning or other supply chain roles

Forecasting software experience required (i.e. JDA Demand, Demand Solutions, etc)

Post-secondary degree from either a University or College in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Logistics.

Knowledge of finance, sales, marketing, and R&D functions.

Minimum of 5 years in a Demand Planning role or equivalent experience in planning.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into high-level analysis and demand planning.
