This role is based in our Oakville or IDS office and reports to Demand Planning Manager.

Job Purpose
Working within the IPEX demand planning team, this position will create demand forecasts on SKU level.
Will collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and Supply Planning teams to put an accurate forecast.
Responsibilities
- Accurately document Supply Chain forecast per key building block for input into the monthly IBP process
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management and Supply Planning functions to ensure the most accurate forecast possible
- Maintain, analyze & publish monthly forecast metrics; identify and resolve the root cause of deviation with the goal of continuous metric improvement
- Create and maintain consensus demand forecast at SKU level, applying intelligence adjustments from internal and external sources when applicable
- Participate and lead the development of a consensus forecast for new item launches from ideation to commercialization in-market.
- Facilitate prioritization and decision-making in case of foreseen product shortages
- Review historical sales trends and seasonal trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results
- Build new dashboards & reports.
- Work closely with the Supply Planning team to identify and resolve changes in demand forecast; drive solutions to mitigate customer service level risk and lost sales
- Manage demand forecast for more than 2000 SKUS including baseline generation, innovation, and other building blocks management.
- Actively participate in IBP and S&OP processes
- Take the initiative to identify, lead, and establish continuous improvement practices that improve supply chain and company performance
Qualifications
- Strong analytical, reporting, and organizational skills. Must be detailed oriented and highly organized
- Experience in S&OP, Demand Planning, or Supply Planning is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and stakeholders management
- Understanding applicable computer systems such as SAP APO, and IBP is an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Advanced Excel skillset and Power BI.
- Must be a self-starter
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Operations, or Supply Chain
