One Year to Go Celebrations

Support the external PR agency to support media opportunities at the One Year to Go celebrations

Support the Commercial team to develop opportunities to highlight and activate corporate partners at the One Year to Go celebrations.

Coordinate the execution of external public and community events to advance the brand and awareness of the Invictus Games 2025.

Excellent organizational and project management skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities

Knowledge of social media, digital marketing, and website management

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience making presentations to various audiences

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a marketing and/or community engagement role

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite is an asset

Experience managing budgets and analyzing data, including familiarity with website analytics and metrics

Project management and community programs experience strongly encouraged. 

Provides leadership, strategic management, expertise, counsel, and co-ordination on all revenue generating, volunteer, and community programs.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, related field or equivalent experience preferred.

Oversee the collection and maintenance of participant data to meet reporting requirements

Experience with event marketing, field marketing or public relations campaigns, telecommunications, communications, sales, event planning/event coordinating, or brand promotions

Volunteer experience or experience with charities and community involvement is a huge plus

Strong communication skills are a must

No educational requirements as this position is designated for people with lived experience

Training, certification or experience in a peer support role an asset

Knowledge of the barriers and stigma experienced by people who use drugs accessing health and social services
