Support the external PR agency to support media opportunities at the One Year to Go celebrations

Excellent organizational and project management skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities

Knowledge of social media, digital marketing, and website management

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience making presentations to various audiences

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a marketing and/or community engagement role

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite is an asset

Experience managing budgets and analyzing data, including familiarity with website analytics and metrics

· Experience creating and managing budgets, with a demonstrated knowledge of fiscal management and responsibility.

· Well-defined sense of diplomacy, solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.

· Assist with the development and management of an assigned budget.

· Review and analyze financial statements related to assigned budget and prepare monthly management reports.

· Understanding of and commitment to implementing principles of community development, case management, and issues management.

Job-related experience required: Knowledge of/experience in a social housing environment is an asset.

University degree and a minimum of 3 years’ experience with outreach, community engagement, training, and group facilitation.

Knowledge of adult and child bereavement an asset

Exercises a project management lens to assess business operations and effectively evaluate options, managing programs and special projects within established timelines.

Knowledge of the theory, principles, and practices of communications and public relations

Understands established legislation, policies and procedures, and makes recommendations and decisions accordingly.

Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Prepare strategic advice to clients, including stakeholder engagement and communication strategies, risk analysis, and stakeholder management on behalf of clients

Experience delivering projects that meet client objectives, manage risk, and result in high quality deliverables within a client-defined schedule and budget

Liaise with project managers, subject matter experts, clients and subconsultants.

Manage projects and deliverables efficiently, including budget, scope, and schedules.

Minimum 10 years project experience in strategic communication, stakeholder engagement, or community consultation.

Environmental assessment e xperience and experience in the resource, energy, industrial, transportation, waste, and water/wastewater market sectors considered an asset

Fundraising & Community Engagement Manager

Works with Comms and Engagement teammates to support IRP material development. Develops/tailors program materials to local faculty/unit.

Well-developed communication skills, both oral and written.

Proven organizational skills with an emphasis on being detailed-oriented.

Research, analytical and problem-solving skills necessary to gather and analyze data.

Intermediate computer skills in MS Outlook, MS Project and other program planning and evaluation software.
