Warehouse Supervisor - Night Shift

Position: Warehouse Supervisor – NIGHT SHIFT

Location: Mississauga, ON

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year + Bonus

Status: Permanent Full-Time

Industry: Industrial/ Automotive/ Engineering

Responsibilities

• Other tasks as required
• Plans, communicates, and executes daily shift work plan outlining work assignments
• Supervise a team of unionized warehouse employees, including delegation of tasks, training, coaching, and directing corrective action to resolve day-to-day operational issues
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and conduct periodic spot-checks of inventory levels, supplies, or equipment
• Continuously monitor the performance and activities of the warehouse using KPIs with a primary focus on cost controls
• Ensure all orders are shipped to customers in a timely manner including investigation of lost or damaged shipments

Qualifications

• 5 years of work experience in a supervisory role ideally in a unionized warehouse environment
• Ability to work a MIDNIGHT SHIFT
• Diploma, degree or post-secondary education or equivalent experience
• Experience with MS Office, radio frequency ID systems (RFID), bar code systems, and electronic data interchange (EDI) is an asset
• Direct working knowledge of operations, warehouse management, and transportation management
• A proven leader with strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization
