About this Position:

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible to carry out preventative maintenance, maintain the day-to-day operations and to assume responsibility for maintaining the physical activities of various assets of the Company including the general maintenance and upkeep of equipment and machinery to minimize production down time.The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining electrical, mechanical, and other related systems. The Maintenance Technician must be prepared to work as a team member and with minimal supervision, follow all safety and food safety procedures, and have a high threshold for heat in a manufacturing environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

• Other related duties and assigned.
• 3+ years of experience in the food industry production lines, preferably cookie or biscuit production lines
• Contribute to the resolution of system and equipment breakdowns and general maintenance tasks such as troubleshooting and equipment modification.
• Perform maintenance and repair of production line and Packaging equipment.
• Completion of documentation related to preventative maintenance, repairs, safety, inventory and process/procedures.
• Utilize welding, fabrication, pneumatics and hydraulic skills for equipment repair.
• Troubleshoot process and production issues sufficient to facilitate repairs.
• Adhering to all policies, procedures and programs of the company (GMP, Quality, Food Safety, Health & Safety etc) at all times.
