RB&W has locations in USA, Canada, Germany and China; servicing almost all major OEM car makers.
Through multiple patents and proprietary designs, RB&W works directly with the Design Engineers of the OEM and Top Tier 1 companies on new model construction. The business is growing, today it is approximately 50% in North America and 50% exported to Europe and Asia.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Brampton, ON, as a Production Shift Supervisor. The Production Shift Supervisor will oversee and ensure the production process runs smoothly and efficiently during the assigned shift. They will work closely with the production team to maintain and improve quality standards, production yields, and employee morale. They will also be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring quality and production targets are met.
Shifts and Overtime
Must be able to work midnight and afternoon shift rotating. Weekend overtime work is required during peak manufacturing periods.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to understand and manage production schedules, press operations, technical and quality specifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production environment with at least 3 years in a supervisory/management role, preferably in a unionized environment.
- Experience with cold-forming technology is preferred
- Automotive industry experience highly preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Post secondary education
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
