On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Vendor Manager
.

Vendor Manager –

• Engage with SSG sourcing partner to share business, industry, and vendor insights
• Ensure active participation in vendor governance and oversight
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal client’s partners and vendors
• Conduct 3rd party due diligence
• Understand contractual terms and conditions and their commercial implications
• Manage vendor relationships throughout the agreement lifecycle
• Validate and risk rate agreements
• Apply organizational change management principles to manage stakeholder and vendor expectations
• Liaise with different stakeholders and the client’s 3rd party risk oversight functions
• Represent business needs in contract negotiations and vendor management governance meetings
• Evaluate vendor performance and address performance issues

Vendor Manager – Mandatory Skills

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Understanding of 3rd party risk management, market data and licensing, and business operations vendors
• 24 years of vendor management experience, preferably in investment banking or broker-dealer environment
• Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills
• Proficiency in MS Suites, particularly Excel
• Ability to review contract agreements
• Vendor management certification or market data certification is a plus

Vendor Manager – Nice to Have Skills

• Market data certification
• Banking experience with similar experience
• Vendor management certification
• Coupa or Ariba
