Job Description

Tier 2 On-Site IT Support Technician

(1-Year Contract with High Possibility of Extension)


2 positions available:

  • 1st is on-site at the corporate head office in downtown Toronto
  • 2nd is on-site at one of their various muti-site locations in the GTA (some travel might involved)


We’re assisting our reputable client in the property management and real estate industry with the search for two Tier 2 Support IT Support Technicians who possess profound networking expertise and excellent customer facing support skills. This opportunity presents a 1-year contract, with a strong potential for extension, offering an exciting environment for professional growth.


One of the roles necessitates some travel to other sites to set up and sustain the robust IT infrastructure crucial to the functioning of our client’s multi-family housing sites. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys tackling diverse networking challenges in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.


Hourly rates: $25 – 35/HR (relevant to skills and experience)

Location: Toronto, ON (on-site 5 days per week)

Work hours: Mon - Fri, 8:30 am – 5 pm


Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing Exchange email services, ensuring smooth email flow across network systems.
  • Troubleshooting Windows/PC systems with a networking perspective to minimize downtime and ensure productivity.
  • Administration and management of Active Directory users, utilizing networking skills to ensure secure and efficient user access control.
  • Construction, setup, and maintenance of IT infrastructure at multi-family housing sites, with a strong emphasis on establishing reliable network systems.
  • Office 365 administration and troubleshooting, with a focus on network connectivity and accessibility.
  • Comprehensive network support across multiple sites, including the management of VLANS and wireless network/WAN LAN.
  • Providing superior customer support, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of network-related issues.
  • Setting up and troubleshooting printers, guaranteeing their consistent connectivity to the network.
  • Facilitating audio/visual setup for meetings, with a focus on network-dependent communication tools.


Must-Have Skills:

  • Proficiency in managing Exchange email services, focusing on network-driven email communication.
  • Exceptional communication and experience working with C-level end users
  • Demonstrable experience in Windows/PC troubleshooting with a networking focus, particularly with Windows operating systems.
  • 3+ years of relevant IT Support experience
  • Proficiency in Active Directory user management with a deep understanding of network user access.
  • Hands-on experience in printer setup and troubleshooting with a focus on network connectivity.
  • Extensive networking experience, specifically in constructing and setting up multi-family sites.
  • Advanced expertise in Office 365 operations, with an emphasis on network-related functions.


Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Prior experience in the private sector, ideally within a corporate, white-collar environment, with a strong focus on network operations.
  • Practical experience in network patching.
  • Professionalism and a polished demeanor, complemented by a solid understanding of networking's role in business operations.
