Technical Lead/Supervisor (Aerospace Industry)

Responsibilities

-Manage a team of technicians or engineers involved in Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) operations.

-Provide guidance, training, and technical support to ensure the team's effectiveness and efficiency.

-Responsible for designing and developing electrical wiring systems, including wire routing, harness design, connectors, and associated components.

-Maintains accurate and up-to-date documentation of the electrical wiring systems, including drawings, specifications, and test reports.

-Manage configuration control to ensure that all changes and updates to the wiring systems are properly documented and tracked.

-Oversee projects, including planning, resource allocation, and progress tracking. Coordinate with other departments, such as quality assurance, and production, to ensure project execution.

-Identify training needs for the team and organize training programs to enhance technical knowledge, skills, and compliance awareness in the field.

-Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications

-Engineering or technical degree/diploma/certification.

-Minimum 2 years’ experience in EWIS, preferably in Aerospace.

-Strong knowledge in reading drawings (Being Familiar with Bombardier drawings is a plus)

-Good knowledge of SAP.

-Familiar with Aerospace Process Specification such as BAPS, PPS, etc.

-Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

-knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.

-Very well organized.

-Able to multi-task.

-Bilingual.
