YOUR ROLE
You will be the System Integration Technical Lead responsible for leading ALDO's Integration and Engineering architecture across our integration function. Determining strategy and roadmap for the integration and engineering domains, governing the platforms, patterns, and use; transforming what is there today onto next generation systems for one Canada’s leading retailers.
This is role which requires both individual accountability and collaborative working with ESB, BI and Digital teams and Product Owners, Developers, Data Engineers, and Integration Analysts. Working as a team, you'll need to ensure capabilities and strategies for information delivery and data exploration are there to support business function needs and goals.
Responsibilities

• Assessment of application requirements and translation to system and development efforts
• Coordinate with the Product owners and BI department to identify future needs and requirements
• Define security and backup procedures
• Design conceptual and logical data models, flowcharts and system architecture diagrams
• Analyze structural requirements for new software and applications
• Design and lead the system architecture process, in partnership with the Development Team, to create, define specifications for and implement customizations for any custom code or data integration requirements
• Ensuring systems integration across suite of core application platforms
• Migrate data from legacy systems to new solutions

DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

• BSc in Computer Science or relevant field
• System architecture design patterns
• Extensive experience working with TalenD
• Problem-solving attitude
• Experience gathering and analyzing functional and data requirements supporting system requirements
• Expertise in SQL, NoSQL
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• At least 5 years' experience in projects involving different applications including SAP (EDI, ESB, PIPO, Microservices) in a large organization and be aware of the challenges faced by different teams in coming up with an integrated enterprise-wide solution
• Reliable, flexible, curious, team player and shows initiative
• Expertise in Java technologies
• Proven analytical skills
• In-depth understanding of database structure principles and design patterns
• Knowledge of the SAP emerging technologies such as S4/HANA and Fiori - asset
• Go-getter attitude
